Enoama is a person-centered, community-based program serving adults with developmental disabilities in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. We're growing, and we're looking for Direct Support Professionals who care, listen, and lead with respect.

You see the progress up close, like a first solo bus ride or a first meal cooked without help.
Training from day one
Orientation in your first two weeks, plus ongoing development in consumer rights, person-centered planning, behavior support, and more.
Flexible schedules
Services run seven days a week, including evenings and weekends. Each client's schedule follows their IPP, and we match staff whose availability fits.
Supported, never alone
Supervisory check-ins, observation, and feedback are built into the job.
Open position
Direct Support Professional
One-on-one support for adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You'll teach practical independent living skills like cooking, money management, transit, and community participation, and help the people you support move toward their own goals.
What we look for
- Genuine respect for adults with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and TB screening before starting
- Comfort working independently in clients' homes and community settings
- Experience with developmental disabilities helps, but isn't required. We train you.
What you'll do
- Provide one-on-one ILS instruction in clients' homes and communities
- Carry out Individual Service Plans aligned with each person's IPP goals
- Document each session with detailed case notes and progress data
- Coach without controlling: support the person rather than doing the task for them
- Take part in supervisory meetings and ongoing training
